"We're born alone, we live alone, we die alone. Only through our love and friendship can we create the illusion for the moment that we're not alone." —Orson Welles
I'm so grateful for those I love and "illusion" with - on Thanksgiving and every day! I stumbled upon this quote from Orson Welles today: "We're born alone, we live alone, we die alone. Only through our love and friendship can we create the illusion for the moment that we're not alone." Wow! I grew up when movies were still in black and white, including those of Orson Welles. Why this quote? Why now? Because I'm thankful for those I hold in my heart and arms. It also relates to my new script, "Homestay," a romantic psychological thriller with a character named Orson. I'm on day 13 of ISA’s 30 Day Screenwriting Challenge with Max Timm, sitting at 59 pages of a possible 100. Wish me luck! Happy Thanksgiving!
